Sabinene occurs in many plants, namely Norway spruce, black pepper, basil, and myristica fragrans (an evergreen of the spice islands of Indonesia), which is the main source of the world’s nutmeg. Sabinene has been shown to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, while also benefiting liver function and digestion. It has properties that can also relieve arthritis and soothe skin conditions.
